Welcome to The Brockton Housing Authority Website.
The Brockton Housing Authority is one of the largest housing authorities in the United States with a portfolio that includes 2019 apartments in 16 housing developments, more than 1000 rent-assisted apartments/ houses, roughly 7,000 residents, and growing numbers of private homes for ownership or rent that help families move beyond public assistance.
However, scope alone does not fully define the BHA. I am proud to say that we are also one of the best-managed and most collaborative housing authorities. Proof of this comes from our consistent ly high marks from HUD, as well as the added responsibilities that HUD has given us. . It also comes from our success at collaborating with other social service agencies at the federal, state and city levels to achieve results.
As you explore our site, we hope you get a taste of the many ways in which we are helping make the Brockton community (and beyond) a better place to live and work. About the BHA
