Defining ourselves with mission and vision statements

While we have always known who we are as an organization, and how we impact our world, we decided last year to refine our thoughts and notions into coherent statements. We turned to our employees to craft a mission statement that would define and guide our agency for years to come. With Modernization Director Frank Hinds facilitating the writing process, the nine members of our mission statement committee wrote the Authority's first-ever mission statement as well as a companion vision statement. The team's concerted effort paid off by expressing what we are all about - and what we will become. We now have a communication foundation that defines the way for our continued success.
