Rosemary Foster and Janet Trask, RN
In 2010, Governor Deval Patrick appointed Janet Trask, RN, to the Board of Commissioners and Mayor Linda M. Balzotti appointed Rosemary Foster to the Board. Commissioner Trask is an extraordinary woman, not only because she is a tireless volunteer and vigorous advocate for veterans, youth, minorities, working families and under represented people in our society, but also because, with her camera, she records people, places and events that capture why Brockton is a great place to live. Commissioner Foster has always chosen the difficult but rewarding work of improving resident quality of life. She has, among other accomplishments, established a store at the Campello High Rise, created a "Belair is Back" culture at her home development, and successfully led the Resident Advisory Board; all of which have prepared her for new challenges and new opportunities. |
