About

The Brockton Housing Authority is a nationally recognized Housing Authority providing housing and housing assistance to over 4000 families primarily in the Southeastern region of Massachusetts.

The Authority manages approximately 2300 physical units and 2700 housing assistance vouchers.

The Authority has entered into management agreements with the Hanson and Abington Housing Authorities and also administers the family self-sufficiency program for the Milton Housing Authority.  The Authority is affiliated with two nonprofit organizations; the Southeastern Massachusetts Housing Assistance Corporation and the Montello Affordable Housing Corporation.

The Brockton Housing Authority is funded by various State, Federal and private grants, resident paid rents and through our own creative financing initiatives.

Our mission is at the heart of who we are:

The Brockton Housing Authority is a dynamic professional organization committed to providing the best quality of life for our residents. Through responsible leadership, teamwork, and collaboration we are the catalyst for positive change and revitalization in our community. With employee development, growth, and participation our dedicated staff will continue to meet the challenges of the ever-changing world in which we live.

Providing decent, safe, affordable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals and families is what we do to make Brockton a better place to live.
