Brockton Housing Authority Capital Improvement Bids

The Brockton Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for 24-2 Belair Heights Roof Replacement in accordance with the documents prepared by TBA Architects, Inc. 9 Damonmill Sq., Ste 5C, Concord, MA 01742.

Project consists of but not limited to: Replacement of asphalt shingle roof and all underlayments, fascia, soffits, ventilation screen, gutters and downspouts at 14 low rise residential buildings and one community building. Roofs are hip and gable in configuration and buildings are one and two stories in height. Site will be occupied throughout construction. The work being primarily Roofing it is expected that the contractor certified in Roofing will be the prime contractor.
The work is estimated to cost approximately $635,000.00
Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
Davis Bacon Wages apply.
General Bids will be received until 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 7, 2024, and publicly opened on-line, forthwith.

The Brockton Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, is soliciting Quotes for the Rebid 24-10
Belair High-Rise 10th Floor Ceiling Repairs project in accordance with the documents prepared by the
Brockton Housing Authority.

The Project consists of but not limited to: removal of all water-damaged popcorn ACM and the application of
encapsulate to properly seal all open edges. The scope will also include the removal of any ACM debris
that might be generated and or found. All units will most likely be occupied during abatement.
The work is estimated to cost approximately $25,000.00

Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available for pickup at 45 Goddard Road, Brockton,
MA at the beginning of the business day on October 11, 2023, or you may request an electronic
copy by emailing Nancy@brocktonha.com, or Chrisb@brocktonha.com.

A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Belair High Rise,
105 Belair Street, Brockton, MA 02301. It is recommended that prospective bidders attend.
All questions and requests for interpretation must be submitted to Chris Barry (Chrisb@brocktonha.com)
in writing or via email no later than 12:00 p.m. on October 30, 2023. Questions and requests for
interpretation may be responded via addendum, as determined by the Awarding Authority.
