Brockton Housing Authority Capital Improvement Bids

The Brockton Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for Electrical Upgrades Manning Tower MA24-3 and Belair High-Rise MA24-10 in accordance with the documents prepared by Angelo A. Kyriakides Architect, 78 Bank Street, Harwich Port, MA 02646.​

Project consists of but not limit to:
1. Manning Tower MA24-3 : Demolish and replace the main 208 V three phase four wire switchboard, provide new switchboard in new electric room. Demolish and replace the existing interior natural gas powered generator with a new outdoor natural gas powered generator. Provide cable tray as shown on reference drawings. Provide new unit load centers, panelboards, and panelboard interiors as shown on reference drawings. See reference drawings for new load center and house panel layouts. Provide lighting and power as shown on the reference drawings for the new electric room. Provide new manual transfer switch as shown on reference drawings. Provide all new architectural and site work as shown on reference drawings.
2. Belair High Rise MA-10: Demolish and replace the main 208 V three phase four wire switchboard, provide new switchboard in existing electric room. Demolish and replace the main 480 V three phase four wire switchboard, provide new switchboard in existing electric room. Pay careful attention to the required phasing plan as shown on reference drawings. Demolish and replace the existing exterior natural gas powered generator with a new outdoor natural gas powered generator. The new generator will be installed in the same exterior location. The generator pad will be modified as shown on the referenced drawings. Provide new manual transfer switches as shown on reference
drawings. Under bid alternate #1, provide new unit load centers, blank covers, and extend wires as shown on reference drawings. Provide new panelboards and panelboard interiors as shown on reference drawings. See reference drawings for new load center and house panel layouts. Provide all new architectural and site work as shown on reference drawings.

Site will be occupied throughout construction. The work being primarily electrical, and it is required that the electrical contractor will be the prime contractor.
The work is estimated to cost approximately $2,527,064.00
