Campello High Rise is an elder community with two buildings and 398 apartments, including two two-bedroom and 19 one-bedroom barrier-free apartments. The development is within walking distance of stores and restaurants, and is close to public transportation. The Bat Bus stops at the front door of the A Building and the train station is across the street from the B Building. Amenities include laundry, hair salon, exercises classes, hot lunches served 5 days per week and community vegetable gardens. A free Bat Bus service provides rides to and from Shaw’s Supermarket on Tuesdays and Trucchi’s Supermarket on Fridays. Each building has an active resident council that holds weekly Bingo, annual holiday parties, and once-a-month food distribution from the Greater Boston Food Bank.

Melissa O’Malley
Melissa has been an Asset Manager since 2014. Prior to this, she held several property management positions at the First Realty Management Corporation where she gained in-depth regulatory knowledge. As a BHA Asset Manager, she oversees compliance with all relevant Public Housing program requirements. She enjoys educating residents about Federal and State programs, helping them find community resources and wellbeing as public housing residents.
